The Town of Superior is committed to ensuring that our website, facilities and public spaces are accessible to the widest possible audience. Our goal is to deliver a web experience that complies with WCAG 2.1 AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI). Our facilities and public spaces follow guidelines established in the American's with Disabilities Act. A summation of these standards can be found on the U.S. Access Board's website.
The Town is actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and in doing so adhere to many of the available standards and guidelines, including the Accessibility Standards set forth by the Colorado Office of Information Technology. Some of this is done utilizing tools like Acquia Optimize, which automates the process of identifying errors and problems on our site. This is a journey we will forever be committed to, as we value each visitor that takes the time to visit us online.
For any questions, issues or suggestions about accessibility, please fill out the request form on Superior’s main accessibility website. Emergency accessibility issues can be sent to our Communications Team. Staff will reply to requests within 5 business days. We are continually striving to improve the experience for all of our visitors and residents, so all feedback is welcome.
