Explore electrification of town-owned facilities, or other clean and renewable energy sources, in a phased approach.

The Town created a Beneficial Electrification Plan in September of 2023 with Xcel Energy's Partners in Energy that provides a framework for exploring electrification of municipal facilities. As part of the implementation phase of this work, which kicked off at the beginning of 2024, Town staff are working to create a roadmap for what a phased approach to electrification and renewables could look like. Additionally, Superior received funds through a 2024 Boulder County Sustainability Grant to support this work.
