Work with the Youth Climate Action Coalition to engage youth in sustainability and environmental projects year-round.

The Town has a long history of engaging with the Youth Corp. Since the SAP adoption, staff worked with Youth Corp to support parks projects in 2023 and 2024, including removing turf along Rock Creek Parkway and adding native plants to support pollinator habitat. ACES has also partnered to support youth in sustainability, including hosting youth-focused litter clean ups and hosting an All Careers panel to encourage high schoolers to explore sustainable careers.
