Work with HOAs to develop and communicate standard guidelines for turf removal and xeriscaping.

Working with HOAs on water conservation was on the 2024 Advisory Committee for Environmental Sustainability (ACES) workplan and ACES members worked with the Ridge HOA on xeriscaping. The Town co-hosted two HOA focused water conservation events with Lafayette and Louisville in 2024. Staff will continue to communicate with HOAs on best practices, especially in light of HB 23-178, where HOAs may not prohibit the use of xeriscape.
