Description
In the fall of 2023, the Town launched Green Star Schools at both Superior schools (Eldorado PK-8 and Superior Elementary), along with distributing the first ever reusable kits for classroom parties. This award-winning education program is the first in the nation to address waste reduction and the collection of compostables and recyclables in every aspect of school life, from classrooms and hallways to cafeterias and special events. The Town also supports annual waste-related field trips and zero waste locker cleanouts for these schools.
