Official description

Complete a beneficial electrification study and educational primer for new and existing buildings in all sectors.

This action is wide-ranging, however, the Town created a Beneficial Electrification Plan in September of 2023 with Xcel Energy's Partners in Energy that covers residential existing buildings, municipal facilities, and new commercial and residential buildings. The educational piece of this work launched in April 2024 with the 1-2-3 Electrify! campaign and series of events throughout the summers of 2024 and 2025.
