Identify opportunities to incentivize home and workplace EV charging including lower cost permitting and rebates.

The Town created a Beneficial Electrification Plan in Sept. 2023 with Xcel Energy's Partners in Energy that covers electrification of transportation and buildings. The educational piece of this work is launching in April 2024 with the 1-2-3 Electrify! campaign and series of events throughout the summer of 2024. This work will include promoting rebates and incentives for electric vehicle charging. The Town is also exploring adding Superior-specific electrification rebates as part of its Beneficial Electrification Plan implementation.
