Official description

Continue to support and improve existing waste diversion efforts including the annual hard-to-recycle/hazardous waste event, the Boulder County HMM Facility, dog waste composting, zero waste infrastructure at Town facilities and programming in schools.

The Town hosts an annual Hard to Recycle event in spring. The Sustainability operating budget covers Superior residents' contributions at the Boulder County HMM Facility. The Town continues to provide dog waste composting and zero waste infrastructure such as the Superior Yard Waste Site.
